2025 PANINI DONRUSS OPTIC DOWNTOWN BLACK PANDORA PATRICK MAHOMES II
This one has us torn. The Downtown cards are a good mix of cool and corny. For the good, the blazing red sun setting over the Kansas City skyline makes it look like an old Western shootout scene, for which number 15 is well equipped. The grill at his feet reminds us that KC is one of 47 cities known for its BBQ. There’s nothing else they could’ve used to represent the city? It’s all good though, especially with that black background. This card makes us happy…and hungry.
Choice Cherry Blossom #200 2025 Panini Mosaic
This is a rare one. Only 20 of these parallels printed makes it tough to find. The cherry blossoms work well with the red refractor and PM’s uni. Plenty of other parallels out there if you like the card, but this one is a genuine grail.
Patrick Mahomes II #13 2025 Panini Mosaic Stained Glass
Hail Mary. The Stained Glass series is interesting because it poses infinite possibilities in design and color. We like the way this all comes together with the complementary colors and the elegant style. Our only complaint would be the lack of BBQ images in the glass. Do better Panini.
Patrick Mahomes II #84 Rookie 2017 Panini Crown Royale
Patrick Mahomes has some really good looking cards, but his Rookies tend to leave us feeling meh. This one is different. The lighted crown over the KC Red and White, the clean and even font, and PM directing his troops before firing a perfect laser. This is a card that deserves to be on display.
